Nantes boss Christian Gourcuff has expressed his pleasure at having Nigeria international Simon Moses, on loan from Levante, in his team following the heroics of the former Gent forward at the weekend.
Moses scored the winner at the Stade de la Beaujoire to help Nantes overcome Nice and climb to second on the league table. It was the Super Eagles forward’s second of the season, having already bagged a goal in Nantes 2-1 away win at Amiens earlier in the season.
Gourcuff has not stopped singing the praises of the Nigerian since, describing Moses as a complete player.
“He’s is a delight to watch, he has an all-rounded attitude with a positive spirit. He works very hard for the team and is always looking out to make passes to others in better positions to score in games. That is the good part of his game many don’t appreciate it.”
“We are actually delighted to have a player of his pedigree. We know it’s going to be a major plus for us, coming from the Spanish league to the French league and he adapting immediately”.
“Two goals, two assists to his credit so far, it’s not a bad one at all for him, he is certainly a delight to watch in the field of play.”
