The young Nigerians yet again engineered another late come-from-behind victory to triumph over Ecuador on Tuesday nights, drawing applause from far and wide.

Nigeria scored twice in the last five minutes to clinch another comeback win, this time a 3-2 win over Ecuador with Ibrahim Said scoring the first hat-trick of this U-17 World Cup.

The delightful victory saw the Golden Eaglets qualify for the Round of 16 with a game to spare after also defeating Hungary on Saturday.

Golden Eaglets hero Said starred for Nigeria from start to finish. First he positioned himself in the right place to capitalise on an errant pass from Ecuador goalkeeper Joan Lopez in the fifth minute.

When his side fell behind and trailed well into the second half, Said was there to complete his brace and hat-trick in the 85th and 89th minutes. The second goal was the pick of the bunch, a curling, highlight-reel blast from the outside of the left corner of the box.

Fans immediately after the encounter took to social media site Twitter to revel in the Nigeria lads’ display.

These boys are golden ! Youthful! Fighters ! They deliver! The Nigerian spirit back on again! Congratulations to these young ones. Nigeria 3 Ecuador 2.

Call them 'The Comeback Kings'.

Nigeria's Golden Eaglets just defeated Ecuador 3-2.
They came from a losing position to score 2 goals with less than 10 minutes on the clock.
One man, Ibrahim Said accounted for all 3 goals. His story is incredible. Wanna hear? pic.twitter.com/SWbvsL5yFi
