Ahead of the January transfer window, Real Madrid have made quick move to sign Paul Pogba from Manchester United as the team have offered Toni Kroos for the France international.
Having failed to capture the former Juventus star during the summer transfer window, Real manager, Zinedine Zidane has decided to liaise with the Red Devils management in a bid to commence talks.
Los Blancos were the heaviest spenders in Europe over the summer, splashing over £275m on new acquisitions.
And instead of spending even more money, they are ready to use the first-team star as the makeweight in a deal for Pogba. Long-term Red Devils target Toni Kroos is expected to be that man.
United are understood to have had a £67m offer for the Germany midfielder turned down ahead of this summer’s transfer window.
That prompted Bernabeu bosses to hand him a new deal.
However, Inda claims that they have made a U-turn since, and are keen to offload him in the winter.
Ideally, they want to send him to United, and believe he could be used in a deal for Pogba.
The Red Devils are unlikely to agree on a straight swap between Pogba and Kroos.
Old Trafford bigwigs were thought to be demanding well over £100m for the 26-year-old but could struggle to get as much as he wants if Pogba demands to leave.
