Samuel Chukwueze came off the bench to lit up the Estadio de la Cerámica, Friday night, to the delight of his fans as Villarreal secured a 5-1 win against Real Betis on game week seven in La Liga.

The Yellow Submarines picked up a convincing 5-1 victory over Real Betis although the match was delicately poised at 1-1 until the Super Eagles youngster entered the fray.

The home side had led 1-0 at the break thanks to Karl Toko Ekambi, but were pegged back by the visitors just three minutes into the second half.

The game’s magical moments did not however arrive until Chukwueze was introduced in the 57th minute, with the Nigerian making an immediate impact by earning a penalty which veteran Santi Cazorla cooly converted.

Another Karl Toko Ekambi strike soon after made it 3-1 after yet another Chukwueze break away before Gerard Moreno scored the hosts’ fourth of the evening two minutes into injury time.

There was enough time however for Chukwueze to grab his much deserved goal, rounding off a man-of-the-match performance for Javier Calleja’s men.

#VillarrealRealBetis | 5-1 🚨 94' | GOALLLLLL!!! You better not have stopped watching or left La Cerámica in added time! @chukwueze_8 runs from deep, cuts inside onto his left and places it in off the post. Brilliant! 👏👏👏 pic.twitter.com/kn684cHLpy

Villarreal were drawing 1-1 with Betis, heading nowhere, Villarreal manager Javier Calleja had seen enough and called upon his main man, Samuel Chukwueze and the rest is history. Villarreal 5-1 Betis. Chukwueze made Betis suffer, including a goal to cap a wonderful performance.

The European media won't hype him..
You will barely see him trending..
Some Nigerians don't even know him..
Buh I know you as a great talent and I'm a fan..
Chukwueze is the next biggest thing ..🙌 pic.twitter.com/A3eFk4GnTl

I’ve not prayed for a Nigerian footballer to be successful the way I do for Chukwueze. Lad is so good and humble I pray nothing hinders his growth.

He has everything to be one of the best footballers to ever come out of 🇳🇬.

Chukwueze will be sprinting, dribbling, rigmarolling and doing fancy legwork while Toko Ekambi will be netting goals.

Chukwueze is the one that gets all the hype. I love La Liga priorities.

Chukwueze was on fire tonight 🔥🔥🔥 pic.twitter.com/woR8LpGIXw
