Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang continued his impressive goal-scoring form for Arsenal as he netted the vital goal in the team’s 2-2 draw against Tottenham at the Emirates Stadium in Sunday’s Premier League clash.

Arsenal’s inability to remain tight at the back was for the umpteenth time punished as Christian Eriksen put Tottenham ahead in the 10th minute with a superb finish that left Gunners goalkeeper, Bernd Leno with no chance.

The London club had more of the possessions with some swift passes but lack of killer instinct in front of goal prevented the team from equalizing.

Nicolas Pepe had two goal-scoring chances in quick succession to level scores but the Spurs defence stood strong to block his shot.

At the other end, Tottenham extended their lead in the 40th minute thanks to a Harry Kane’s penalty that silenced the home supporters.

However, Arsenal were given a lifeline after Alexandre Lacazette pulled one back for the team in the 45th minute.

The second half had the home team pressed Spurs with so much intensity which finally paid off in the 71st minute through a Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s goal to complete the comeback.

The goal spurred Arsenal as they charged from all angle of the field in search of the winning goal but never forthcoming.

Pepe could have snathed the vital three points for the Gunners but his effort went wide the goal post. The game finally came to end with the two teams sharing the spoils at the Emirates Stadium.
