Arsenal manager Unai Emery has praised Dani Ceballos ahead of the Gunners opening league match against Newcastle, saying he is the kind of player his team needs.
The Spanish U-21 player joined Arsenal on a season-long loan deal from Real Madrid and Emery could not hide his happiness with the capture.
The Gunners beat off competition from North-London rivals, Spurs for the signing of the 22-year-old. Ceballos who could make his premier league debut against the Magpies was praised by Emery for his attitude since he arrived.

Emery also revealed his satisfaction at the way Arsenal have conducted their deals. The gunners brought in Nicolas Pepe from Lille for a club-record fee, while they also David Luiz, Gabriel Martinelli, Kieran Tierney and William Saliba who will spend the season on loan at Saint Etienne.
“We are very happy and we are delighted with what the club did (in the transfer window),” he said. “Also (head of football) Raul Sanllehi and (director of football) Edu were working together to find the best solutions, being competitive in the moment we can sign another player and also using the club to support us economically to do that.
