The Europa League group stage draw has been concluded with Nigeria stars facing tough days ahead as the race to lift Europe’s second tier club competition begins.

Trabzonspor will be looking to call on the experience of one-time Europa League winner and retired Super Eagles skipper John Obi Mikel when the Turkish side square up against La Liga’s Getafe, Krasnodar of Russia and Switzerland’s Basel in Group C.

It won’t be any easier for new Super Eagles invitee Joe Aribo and Glasgow Rangers teammate Sheyi Ojo as they battle Porto, Feyenoord, and Young Boys for the two qualification tickets in Group E.
