Following their impressive victory over perennial rivals Cameroon in the AFCON round of 16 fixture, Super Eagles players were seen celebrating with former Arsenal star Nwankwo Kanu in the locker room.

In a video that was seen on Super Eagles twitter handle, the former Nigerian international was seen dancing with the players after the win.

Nigeria came from behind to beat the five-time AFCON champions in a thrilling encounter at Alexandria Stadium in Egypt. The Super Eagles took the lead through Odion Ighalo in the 19th minute.

But Cameroon responded with two quick-fire goals. The Indomitable Lions drew level through Stephen Bahoken who stabbed home from close range following a brilliant cross from Stephen Bassogog.

Minutes later, Clarence Seedorf's men turned the tie around after former Tottenham Hotspur star Clinton Njie got the better of Ola Aina to finish past Daniel Akpeyi.

However, the Super Eagles regrouped in the second half to score two quickfire goals of their own. The three-time African champions drew level through Odion Ighalo- firing home from a brilliant Ahmed Musa assist.

They took the lead three minutes after Ighalo's brilliant pass set up Arsenal star Alex Iwobi to slot past Andre Onana in Cameroon goal.

It proved to be the winning goal of what was an enthralling game. The Super Eagles now have a quarterfinal date with South Africa who stunned hosts Egypt last night in the round of 16 fixtures between the two sides.
