Cristiano Ronaldo could miss Juventus Serie A clash with Napoli on Sunday at San Paolo Stadium after picking up an ankle injury during the weekend’s 1-0 win at Bologna, the club announced on Wednesday.
The 33-year-old Portugal international will undergo tests and the club will then be able to make an informed decision as to whether or not they want to risk their star man in what promises to be one of the Bianconeri’s toughest league fixtures of the season, and one that could possibly bring to an end their unbeaten run in Serie A.
According to Sky Sport Italia ruled out any serious damage to Ronaldo’s left ankle after the blow he took against Bologna last weekend, but it is ‘unlikely’ he will feature at the San Paolo.
