Super Eagles hard-tackling midfielder, John Ogu has revealed that they are prepared to annihilate Seychelles despite Nigeria missing captain, Mikel Obi in Sunday’s 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.

The Hapoel Be’er Sheva star who was part of the 23-player that feature at the 2018 World Cup stated that the team has no choice but to beat the Pirates of Seychelles in a bid to revive their AFCON hope after missing the last two editions.

“Of course it’s always a huge blow without the service of our captain, but I strongly believe we have players who can stand in for him and deliver for the team.

“This game is a must-win match for us because we lost to South Africa at home in our first game, so we will do ourselves a whole lot of good if we can win this one and boost our chances of qualifying for the Nations Cup.”
