Super Eagles striker, Odion Ighalo has said that Nigeria have the potentials to beat the Three Lions of England in a pre-World Cup friendly match in June.

Ighalo who arrived Nigeria on Tuesday morning is expected to team up with the Super Eagles players ahead of this evening friendly clash against Atletico Madrid in Uyo.

He stated that the England game would be a good test for the Super Eagles and that they are ready for the task.

“England have a very good and fantastic team, we are not going to underrate them.

”We have a good team too, but at the end of that day, it will be eleven players against eleven players on the pitch.

”I am looking forward to that game because I have played in the Premier League before and I’ll like to see some familiar players on the pitch again.”
