Ex-international, Emmanuel Amuneke believes the duo of Alex Iwobi and Victor Moses are two qualities and dangerous players that could single-handedly decide a game for the Super Eagles at the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

Both players were crucial for Nigeria during the qualifying series as they scored vital goals to help the Super Eagles qualify ahead of Algeria, Cameroon and Zambia with a game to spare.

The former Barcelona who represented Nigeria in US 94 World Cup where the Super Eagles got to the round of 16 in their first appearance told Soccernet.com.ng that Iwobi and Moses would help Nigeria dazzle their way out of group D due to their intelligent and skilful playing style of football at the World Cup.

“I must confess that the calibre of players in the Super Eagles are good enough to confront teams like Argentina, Croatia and Iceland at the World Cup,” Amuneke told Soccernet.com.ng

“Having players like Alex Iwobi who has been outstanding for Nigeria and Victor Moses who seems to marvel me with his tireless work rate and hunger for goals gives me the belief that they are Nigeria’s deadly players at the moment.

“With them, Nigeria can fly high over any opponents at the World Cup.”
