Barcelona have released the latest update on their big money signing from Borussia Dortmund Ousmane Dembele, showing ther summer addition in training as he closes in on a return to action ahead of the season’s first El Clasico on December 23, 2017.
The Frenchman has been out of action since 16 September with an injury to his left hamstring, suffered in the 1-2 La Liga win against Getafe at the Coliseum Alfonso Pérez.
The French forward trained at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper to start the week as he continues his recovery from the hamstring injury he picked up in September.

A club statement on Barca’s website reads: “After undergoing surgery in Helsinki, Finland, Dembele returned to Barcelona and we have already seen him at the Ciutat Esportiva on several occasions working on his recovery.”
Before his unfortunate injury, the 20-year-old had played his first minutes for the club against Espanyol (providing an assist for Luis Suárez) and started in the Champions League in the opening fixture against this week’s opponents Juventus.
