Ahead of Saturday’s World Cup qualifier, Ex international, Jonathan Akpoborie has advice the Super Eagles to finish up the Chipolopolo of Zambia at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in order to avoid any form of permutations heading into the final group match.
The former Wolfsburg striker, who has credited the progress made by the Technical Adviser of the Super Eagles, Gernot Rohr since his appointment by the Nigeria Football Federarion (NFF), told Kickintel.com that the team must concentrate on the task ahead by dismantling Zambia in Uyo.
“We have no better chance to qualify for the 2018 World Cup that this one considering the fact that our destiny is in our hands and we must capitalise on it,” Akpoborie told Kickintel.
“Like I have always been saying that appointing a foreign coach will definitely make a big difference in the team and I am not surprise that Gernot Rohr has been doing a wonderful job.
“The Zambians knows fully that they can’t come here and pull an upset, however, we just have to take our chances and nail them where possible before it’s too late.”
