Former Super Eagles goalkeeper, Vincent Enyeama, has been restored to Lille’s first team by manager Marcelo Bielsa, following his return from six-month injury lay-off.
Enyeama and 11 other players were surplus to requirements by Bielsa, after he was being appointed as coach during the summer. The affected players were told to look for new clubs, but after his full recovery, the former Eagles captain was re-admitted into the first team by the manager as they plan to make impact in the ongoing French Lique 1 season.
The former Hapoel Tel Aviv saves hands recently recovered from the meniscus surgery he had before the end of last season. He however resumed training with the first team on Tuesday.
During the 2013–14 Ligue 1 season, the 35-year-old goalkeeper kept 11 consecutive clean sheets in Ligue 1 matches to stamp his authority at the first half of the season.
