Super Eagles striker, Olanrewaju ‘Larry’ Kayode has joined Premier League side, Manchester City FC on a four year deal, but was immediately loaned out to Spanish Segunda Division club, Girona FC on a season long loan.
Kayode arrived in England on a trip to Newcastle United, but ended up signing for Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City following completion of his medical with The Sky Blues at the Etihad Stadium late on Friday.
The former Maccabi Netanya striker finished as top scorer in the Austrian Bundesliga with 17 goals and netted 30 goals in his 67 games appearance for FK Austria Wien since joining the club On 2 August 2015, before leaving 11 August, 2017 for England.
The 24-year-old striker is expected to arrive Spain this weekend to join the newly promoted La-Liga side where he is expected to spend the rest of the season on loan.
