Barcelona star Lionel Messi has married long time girlfriend Antonella Roccuzzo.
Friday night saw household names of sport, stage and beyond descend upon the Argentine city of Rosario to witness the marriage of Barcelona forward Messi and Antonella Roccuzzo.
The happy couple posed before photographers on the red carpet in their sparkling attire, the bride dressed in a white Rosa Clara dress.
Also pictured at the event were Jordi Alba, Cesc Fabregas, Carles Puyol, Xavi Hernandez and their plus ones, although Gerard Pique and Shakira dodged the snappers on the night.
It is believed that Messi did not ask for typical wedding gifts ahead of the ceremony, with donations to local charity TECHO requested instead.
