Ahead of the 2018 World Cup qualifier, former Black Stars of Ghana midfielder, Abedi Pele believes the Super Eagles has what it takes to overcome the ever growing threat of the Indomitable Lions.
Both teams will slug it out at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium on September 1 before facing each other three days later in Yauonde in what is expected to decide the fate of the two teams.
Nigeria top Group B with six points while Cameroon are second with two points after two matches played.
However, Pele noted that Nigeria have an edge over Cameroon despite their close rivalry.
“Nigeria and Ghana have plenty things in common and I must say if I’m not a Ghanaian, I would have been a Nigerian; we have so much in common and with
that, I will predict wins in the two games for Nigeria,” Ayew said.
