The Super Eagles camp in France will open on May 23, according a programme that was submitted by Technical Adviser, Gernot Rohr.
The Franco- German coach has urged the NFF to approve the proposal, which will have the Super Eagles players hit the team’s Corsica camp in France on the said date, two days after the end of major European football League seasons.
Sources at the NFF confirmed that Coach Gernot Rohr would be expected to submit the list of the players for the Corsica camping early may, adding that the team will play some friendly matches in the Corsica camp before returning to Nigeria to face South Africa on June 10 in the 2019 AFCON qualifying match at the Godswill Akpabio stadium in Uyo
“Super Eagles’ Technical Adviser, Gernot Rohr, has returned to France, after monitoring the Nigerian league for over two weeks. He is expected to open the team’s camp in Corsica on March 23” our source disclosed.
The Super Eagles will camp in the Mediterranean Island of Corsica for two weeks, after the current season in preparation for their 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against South Africa.
