English Premier League giants, Liverpool are the latest club to be linked with red-hot 19-year old Nigerian striker, Henry Onyekuru.

According to the Daily Mail, Southampton and Bournemouth are also continuing to monitor the highly-rated Nigerian forward who has just been shortlisted for the Ebony Shoe Award.

It is understood that the Premier League trio are just some of the clubs that have sent scouts to watch the 19-year-old in recent weeks playing for Belgian side Eupen.

Brugge and German team, Borussia Monchengladbach have equally expressed interest in the exciting teenager, who infamously tried but failed to push through a move to Celtic in January.

Onyekuru who is predominantly a left winger but can play as a striker and on the right is aware of increasing interest from Premier League sides and that look most likely to be his next destination.

He has scored 15 goals this season including three in his last two games. The striker grabbed two in Eupen’s 2-2 draw with Roeselare before opening the scoring in a 2-0 win over Royal Excel Mouscron seven days later.
