Nigeria’s Africa Cup of Nations 2013 hero Sunday Mba has completed a multi-millionnaira mansion in his hometown of Umuobialla, in Aba South Local Government Area of Abia State.
The 28-year old, who plays for Yeni Malatyaspor in the Turkish PTT 1 Lig, will be officially opening the house on the 31st.While it remains unclear the exact amount the house cost the midfielder, but sources have disclosed it is in excess of N30million.
Confirming it with a post on instagram, he captioned a photo of the house: “it can only be God..now let’s get it open 31/12/16 -abia state …come through (umuobialla )”
Mba was the hero for Nigeria, scoring the only goal as Nigeria defeated Burkina Faso1-0 to lift the AFCON in 2013. He has however, struggled to maintain a constant place in the team after his heroics in SouthAfrica.
He has previously played for Enyimba, Warri Wolves and Rangers in the Nigeria league, before signing for French club CA Bastia, shortly before the 2014 African Nations Championship (CHAN) in South Africa.
