Nigerian striker Henry Onyekuru wants to join Arsenal after blistering start to season for Belgian side KAS Eupen.

The 19-year old winger has been in blistering form this season scoring ten goals and six assists in 22 appearances for Belgian club KAS Eupen.

Onyekuru according to SunSports dreams of playing in the Premier League and Champions League – and wants to do it with the Gunners.

“I believe I have the level to one day play in the Champions League.

“I look at what happened to Wilfred Ndidi. We come from the same region in Nigeria and meet up regularly.

“His transfer to Leicester is an example for me. The Premier League is my dream league, although I would rather go to Arsenal.”

Onyekuru who has 16 goals in 41 appearances at Eupen since making his debut last season ruled out a January switch but did reveal his ambition to make the move to the Emirates comes from the fact his idol growing up was Gunners legend Thierry Henry.

“Football was my relaxation after school. With my friends, we watched the Premier League every weekend.

“I’m a huge Arsenal fan, Thierry Henry is my idol. Now I’m a professional footballer, I try to copy him as much as possible.

“I look back to the games I saw as a boy, but I also regularly watch videos on YouTube to see how he did certain things.” Onyekuru added.
