The Federations cup winning Coach, Rafael Everton of FC Ifeanyi Ubah has stated that he is no longer the head coach of the club.
‎
Everton confirmed this today online as he was granted two weeks leave by the president of the club.

“I would like to communicate to all my fans, friends and family members who have always supported and honored my work, that as of today, I am not the coach of FC Ifeanyi Ubah. I would like to thank the Chairman for the opportunity given to me to direct the club. I'm going home for vacation, sit down with my agent and family to be able to make the best decision for my career. I can already say that I am grateful for everything and to all the people of this wonderful country, Nigeria who welcomed me very well and accepted me and who enjoyed my work.”

Federation Cup Champions,Ifeanyi Ubah is currently  in talks with Japanese Coach Kenichi Yatsuhashi to take over from Brazilian Rafael Everton who will work as an assistant coach under the Japanese. Everton has earlier demanded for a two-week break to enable him travel to Brazil to see his family and to think about the new offer.

Former Accra Hearts of Oak coach, Kenichi Yatsuhashi ‎was at the Teslim Balogun Stadium on Sunday where he watched the Federation Cup final.

Rafael Everton arrived the country 10 months ago and he guided FC Ifeanyi Ubah to 4th position on the log in the just concluded season. He won the Federations cup being the first major trophy for the club on Sunday.‎
