Super Eagles winger, Ahmed Musa was a second half substitute as Leicester City could only salvage a 2-2 draw against Middlesbrough in Saturday’s Premier League match at the King Power Stadium.
The Nigerian international was thrown into the fray of the action in the 60th minute for Riyad Mahrez, who had earlier leveled score for the host after Alvaro Nagredo had put the visiting side ahead in the 13th minute.
Musa’s presence added some bite in the Foxes attack as his combination with Islam Slimani almost resulted to a second goal but their shot went wide the goal post.
However, Middlesbrough could have snatched the maximum point after Nagredo netted his brace in the 72nd minute but Slimani spoiled their party as he scored from the penalty spot to hand the Foxes a vital point.
