Zlatan Ibrahimovic will not end his career with Manchester United but will instead do so with Napoli, his agent Mino Raiola has claimed.

The 34-year old joined United on a free from PSG this summer on a one-year deal with the option for another, with the Red Devils already reportedly ready to extend the deal but his controversial agent says the player would like to end his career in Naples.

Raiola claims he and Ibrahimovic had decided on the move to Old Trafford ‘long time ago’, but has suggested it won’t be the player’s last move before he retires.‘Ibra’ appeared to have attended a ‘farewell match’ for Napoli legend Ciro Ferrara at the San Paolo, and Raiola claims he told him afterwards that he wished to end his career with the Italian giants.

“When the presidents speak with me, I know that everything must remain between us,” Raiola told Radio CRC.

“We chose United a long time ago, it was our goal, so we are where we needed to be.

“I can only say that at the farewell match of Ciro Ferrara at the San Paolo, Zlatan called me and said: ‘Mino, I want to end mycareer at Napoli’, because the mentality of the Neapolitans is very close to his own.

“Surely he could have closed his career there.”
