Nigeria-born Italian striker, Stefano Okaka has signed a five-year deal with Premier League side, Watford FC, the club announced on its website on Monday.

The Hornets are delighted to announce the signing of Italian international striker  from Belgium club, Anderlecht. The 27-year-old joins the Hornets off the back of a 17-goal haul last season that helped Anderlecht to third in the Belgian Pro League and the last 16 of the Europa League.

Starting out with AS Roma in Serie A, Okaka took in various loan spells during his seven years at the Stadio Olimpico including in the Premier League with Fulham in 2010/2011.

It was his form at Sampdoria during 2014/15 that earned him a call-up from Antonio Conte to the Italian national side, Okaka netting on his debut forthe Azzuri against Albania.
