Barcelona Champions League group stage daw
Barça 2016/2017 Champions League group
FC Barcelona have been drawn against English giants Manchester City, Scottish champions Celtic and German club Borussia Monchengladbach in the group stage of the 2016/2017 UEFA Champions League campaign.
The Catalans came into the draw as one of the favourites to win the title with teams from other pots praying to avoid them. They ended up getting one of the toughest groups (if not the toughest) as they were drawn in group C alongside Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City side, Celtic and Borussia Monchengladbach.
The draw brings back a lot of memories and the games will be important for a couple of Barça players. Club goalkeeper will come up against Borussia Monchengladbach, his former club from which he joined Barça in 2014. However, friendship will be dropped aside when they come head to head with the Azulgranes.
Also, the draw means Barça will welcome the return of most successful manager in the club’s history in Pep Guardiola when they take on Man City at the Camp Nou. It will also mark the return of Claudio Bravo who recently joined the English club on a 4-year deal.
There are good memories from games against Celtic and Barça fans along with its player will be looking forward to the game. Both teams played against each other in preseason with Barça coming out on top, but the duel in the CL will be a different ball game entirely.

What a section for us. Another three great nights, and yes, we have beaten Barca before so lets all look forward and enjoy a feast of football at paradise, and lets just watch what we can do.
