Italian giants AC Milan are reportedly favourites to sign Sevilla out-of-favour forward Ciro Immobile this summer after his parent club Torino are not willing to buy him back from the Spanish club.
Immobile joined Sevilla in the summer of 2015 from Borussia Dortmund but failed to replicate his form in the 2013/2104 season for Torino, he was later loaned back to the Italian club in January 2016 until the end of the season but the club are not willing to pay the €11 million asking price for the player to keep him at the club in a permanent deal as the officials of the club believe his heart is not in Turin.
Despite his not-so-good form, Immobile is still targeted by a number of clubs of which Lazio and AC Milan are part with the player’s most likely destination being Milan after Spanish publication AS reported that vice president Adriano Galliani is keen on getting the player to play alongside Carlos Bacca for the club next season.
The 26-year old scored 5 goals in 12 league games to Torino after moving in January. Galliani is unwilling to pay anything more than €15 million for the player but Sevilla are very likely to accept an offer around €11 million which makes the transfer feasible.
