Espanyol have announced the signing of Quique Sanchez Flores as their new manager for the next three years after a confirmation by the club on their official website.
Following the exit of former Coach Galca last month, the Catalan club have appointed the Madrid-born manager in a three-year deal and will present him to the crowd on Monday.
Quique Sanchez Flores managed English club Watford this season and helped the team finish in mid-table and was awarded the manager of the month in December. The coach signed a contract that will keep him tied with the Catalan club until June 2019. Espanyol are delighted to have him as their boss and expressed it in the club’s official statement, “Therefore, the RCD Espanyol is proud to join a successful and renowned coach to lead the first team in this new project,” it read.
