A Godwin Obaje brace helped the hosts hand a severe bashing to their guests from Jos, pummeling Plateau Umited by three unreplied goals.
Plateau United came into this tie basking in their 2-1 win over Warri Wolves at the weekend but were easily deflated by two first half goals and a third late in the game.
Godwin Obaje drew first blood, firing in a low shot from Emenike Onuoha's assist on the half hour mark before he grabbed his brace just three minutes later, striking low into the corner off a Waziri Christopher's assist.
Abubakar Lawal added a third from close range in the 87th minute to ensure United return to Plateau with an empty bag.
