Another midweek of action in Europe as Various clubs in Europe resume hostility in fighting for their place as the season winds down to an epic finish.

There are some Nigerians players abroad that were in action for their respective clubs. SoccerNet Nigeria takes a closer look at these Nigerian Exports.

IN ENGLAND
Arsenal’s Alex Iwobi was not listed in Arsenal’s match day squad as the Gunners were held to a goalless draw by Southampton (0-0)

Liverpool winger Jordan Ibe was on the bench for the entire 90 minutes while teammate and talented youngster Seyi Ojo was not listed in Liverpool match day squad as Liverpool tasted a 2-0 defeat in the hands of table toppers Leicester City courtesy of a brace from Jamie Vardy.

Kelechi Iheanacho made way for Brazilian Fernando in the 46th minute with a possible injury as Manchester City defeated the (Black Cat) Sunderland 1-0 with Kun Aguero’s 16th minute winner.

Victor Moses made a cameo appearance in the 87th minute replacing Enner Valencia as they claimed a 2-0 defeat at home to 10man Aston Villa as Jordan Ayew received his marching orders in the 17th minute.

Peter Odemwimgie was an unused substitute as his club Stoke City lost 3-0 to Rooney’s inspired Manchester United at Old Trafford (The Theatre of Dreams).

Nigerian forward Victor Anichebe replaced Brazilian Sandro in the 69th minute of the game to help West Brom salvage a 1-1 draw against Swansea City from Salomon Rondon equalizer in the 90th minute of the game.

ENGLAND (CHAMPIONSHIP)
Anglo-Nigerian Left back Jordon Obita was in action for the entire duration of the game for Reading as they lost 2-1 to host Ipswich Town. Jordan Obita was booked in the 19th minute of the match.

Wolves shot stopper Carl Ikeme lasted the distance between the sticks just as teammate and defender Dominic Iorfa lasted the entire 90 minutes as well as Wolverampton wanderers drew 2-2 with Bolton Wanderers Bolton defender Derik Osede was an unused substitute for the entire 90 minutes.

IN ITALY
Nigerian promising starlet Umar Sadiq was on the Roma bench for the entire duration of the game as his AS Roma side defeated Sassulo 2-0 away from home courtesy or Mohamed Salah and Stephan El Sharaawy’s goals in the 11th and 90th minute.

IN FRANCE
Elderson Echiejile was not listed in AS Monaco match day squad as they defeated SC Bastia 2-0 in the League.

IN BELGIUM
Onyinye Ndidi was rested and therefore was not listed as his side Genk drew 1-1 with Standard Liege.

IN SCOTLAND
David Amoo replaced Christie Elliot in the 72th minute or the match as his club side Partick Thistle defeated Motherwell 1-0 by a solitary strike from Steven Lawless in the 90th minute of the game.
