It has been gathered that Kelechi Nwakali and his teammate Samuel Chukwueze will sign long-term contracts with English Premier League club Arsenal this month.

A top source informed:“The players’ visas to England are being processed and a party of seven including their legal guardians are expected this month in London to finalise their transfer to Arsenal.”

Both teenagers are expected to later be given professional contracts by the Gunners when they have clocked 18 years.

Their transfers are being handled by the powerful Stellar Group, who manage such top stars like Gareth Bale of Real Madrid.

While Nwakali was the Most Valuable Player of the 2015 U17 World Cup, Right winger Chukwueze was one of the outstanding players at the tournament.

Last year, Nwakali underwent trials at another EPL club Manchester city, who already have older brother Chidiebere Nwakali on their books.

On his part, Samuel Chukwueze has been linked with some top European teams after a nice display in Chile.

It took Samuel Chukwueze not more than 25 seconds to write his name in the tournament record books scoring a quick-fire goal that put the Africans on the road to a 5-1 defeat of hosts Chile and into the last 16 of the FIFA U-17 World Cup 2015.

The hard-running midfielder’s well-taken strike was the third-fastest goal in the history of the competition, exceeded in speed only by Brazilians Fabinho at Korea 2007 and Celso at Peru 2005. who took only nine and 14 seconds respectively to find the back of the net.
