Secretary General of the Nff, Dr Mohammed Sanusi has confirmed the receipt of the bronze boot due U-17 star, Samuel Chukwueze after it was erroneously awarded to teammate Kelechi Nwakali.
Sanusi assured the Chukwueze will be contacted with the award.
Earlier in December, FIFA expressed its regret in naming Nwakali the bronze boot winner instead of Chukwueze.
The World Governing body wrote the Nff about the error promising to make amends while also informing that Nwakali could keep the boot.
