Watford forward Odion Ighalo was put through on goal by Ogenyi Onazi but his strike went wide.
On 33 minutes, Hlatjwako Sandile had the visitors’ best chance but he blazed over the bar.

In the second half, Sylvester Igboun should have given the Eagles the lead in the 47th minute but his shot wide with the keeper to beat.

The Eagles finally broke the deadlock in the 51st minute after Simon curled in from a free kick which went over the wall and into the net.

Onazi almost doubled the lead for the Eagles with 20 minutes left but his shot was well saved by the Swaziland keeper.

Coach Sunday Oliseh introduced Obafemi Martins for Ahmed Musa and Ezekiel Joseph for Simon.
Swaziland almost snatched a goal in the 83rd minute but Carl Ikeme parried over the bar.

Then with three minutes left, Ambrose made the game safe after meeting a cross from Igboun to end the game 2-0.
