The Nigeria U-23 national team has been said to have been handed a tough draw as they bid to reach the men’s Olympic football tournament in Brazil next year 2016

Dream team VI will face Algeria, Mali and Egypt in Group B of the Africa Under-23 Cup of Nations in Senegal from 28 November to 12 December.

Samson Siasia, coach of the Nigerian team recently released the list of his 21-man squad for the 2015 U-23 AFCON. The list comprises mostly new faces, with as many as 12 players on the squad not present at the recent All Africa Games in Congo Brazzaville, where Nigeria’s Dream Team VI placed third at the expense of the host team.

Meanwhile, Hosts Senegal will play South Africa, Zambia and Tunisia in Group A. Only the top three sides at the tournament will qualify for next year’s Games in Rio.
