A week of football action in Europe saw various clubs facing each other to secure a comfortable position in the league table. Actions was intense in Europe and Nigeria players abroad was in the midst of an action packed game across Europe.

Odion Ighalo was in action for 90minutes but could not add to his 7 goal tally as they lost 2-1 to Leicester City.
MANCHESTER UNITED 2- 0 WEST BROM WICH ALBION
Out of favour Nigerian striker Victor Anichebe was not listed in West Brom match roster as they lost 2-0 to Manchester United courtesy of Jesse Lingard and Juan Mata (penalty) second half strike in the 52nd and 90th minute respectively.

Nigerian-born defender Nedum Onuoha lasted the entire duration of the game for Queens Park Rangers and was booked (Yellow card) in the 70th minutes of the game.

WOLVERAMPTON WANDERERS 0- 0 BURNLEY
Wolves’ youngster Dominic Iorfa lasted the entire 90minutes of the game while teammate Sheyi Ojo was substituted in the 58th minute for Nathan Byrne. Nigeria and Wolves shot stopper Carl Ikeme came on for Emiliano Martinez in the 53rd minute. Sheyi Ojo was booked in the 53rd minute of the match.

BLACKBURN ROVERS 0- 0 BRENTFORD
Nigeria midfielder Hope Akpan lasted the distance for Blackburn while teammate Nathan Delfouneso came on for Chris Taylor 11 minutes after intermission as Blackburn drew goalless with Brentford.
