CHAN 2016: Nigeria Draw Tunisia, Niger And Guinea

The home – based Super Eagles have been drawn alongside Tunisia, Niger and Guinea in the 2016 African Nations Championship holding in Rwanda.

The Nigeria side will play their games at the Nyamirambo Stadium, which will be the venue for the all the Group C fixtures, according to CAF.

CAF Secretary General Hicham El Amrani , Rwanda captain Haruna Niyonzima and head coach of the Rwanda women’s national team Marie Grace Umuntu took part in the draw ceremony held on Sunday at Serena Hotel in Kigali.

The competition starts January 16 while the showpiece game will take place on February 7, 2016.

Group A : Rwanda, Gabon, Morocco, Ivory Coast
Group B : DR Congo, Angola. Cameroon, Ethiopia
Group C : Tunisia, Nigeria Niger, Guinea
Group D : Zimbabwe, Mali, Uganda, Zambia
