SoccerNet Nigeria:

Alex Iwobi opened his account for the season as Arsenal u21s beat Newcastle United U21s 2 – 1 in the U21 Premier League Division 2 on Friday night to maintain their 100 percent start to the new season.

After a goalless first half, the 19 – year – old finally broke the deadlock 13 minutes from time before Mavididi gave the Londoners a two – goal cushion in the 88th minute.

Alex Iwobi saw 90 minutes of action for the fourth consecutive game in the league this season while Aaron Eyoma did not make the teamsheet.
