Eskisehirspor midfielder Raheem Lawal will today complete a 3.5 million euro move to Turkish giants Besiktas.
The Nigeria international has been pushing for a move away from Eskisehirspor all summer long and that has led to a breakdown in relationship between him and supporters of the club, who are angry at his open desire to leave the team.
The 25 year old has been in Turkey since 2012 and Besiktas will be his fourth team in the country, after spells at Adana Demirspor, Mersin Idmanyurdu and Eskisehirspor.
Comfortable as either a defensive or offensive midfielder, he was a subject to a move to Serie A giants Roma but the transfer never saw the light of the day.[post_ad]
His move to Besiktas will aid his international career with Nigeria where he has been on the outer since starring in Nigeria ill-fated 2-2 draw against South Africa that saw the Super Eagles fail to qualify for the Africa Nations cup 2015 edition.
