The Super Eagles of Nigeria who’s rank is presently 45th in the world was once ranked 5th. Yes you read right 5th!
April, 1994, was when the Super Eagles of Nigeria was ranked 5th in the world and of cause 1st in Africa, the highest in the countries history. It is just 20 years after and the same team is ranked 45th in the World and 8th in Africa, dropping at the rate of two steps per year.
