Burkina Faso have announced that Stephen Keshi, has made a three-man shortlist for their vacant national team post.
Keshi, who the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) was planning to offer fresh terms, makes the cut along with former Ghana coach Milovan Rajevac and ex-Gabon and Niger coach Gernot Rohr.
A Burkina Faso Football Federation (FBF) statement read:
“German Rohr, Serbian Rajevac and Nigerian Keshi have been selected by the Commission.
“The FBF plans to name the successful candidate within three weeks.”
Paul Put quit as coach of the West African nation, after a poor outing and Burkina Faso to appoint his successor as quickly as possible.
Keshi will be hoping his pedigree on the continent, having managed Nigeria, Togo and Mali, will help him land the job.
