SoccerNet Nigeria: Emenike

Nigeria international striker, Emmanuel Emenike could be playing his football in England in the nearest future if the declarations of his agent, Edem Konyar are anything to go by.
Konyar claims English Premier League club, Tottenham Hotspur is considering an offer for the Fenerbahce forward.
The player agent also claimed that Italian clubs, AC Milan and Fiorentina are interested in the forward.
Authouritative British Newspaper, the Evening Standard reports that Emenike, 27, has a release clause of £15.7m and a number of clubs across Europe have expressed an interest in activating it.
Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino has indicated he is satisfied with his current options at White Hart Lane but with uncertainty surrounding the futures of Emmanuel Adebayor and Roberto Soldado, the club may be on the lookout for further firepower up front.
Konyar has now moved to suggest that Spurs “have only one striker” (Harry Kane) and that the North London club has indicated “interest” in his client.
“Tottenham have really only one striker right now so it is not a surprise that they are interested,” he said.
The football agent then revealed that no negotiations have yet commenced between both parties.
“I personally have not entered talks with Tottenham yet. However, if Fenerbahce give permission we can enter negotiations.
“There are also reports AC Milan and Fiorentina are interested in Emenike but we have not met with them either. I do not think Fenerbahce have received an official offer,” he said.
Emenike has scored two goals in 13 league matches for Fener this season.
