Nigerian Gloveman Austin Ejide has spoken to the media about his feelings regarding the extension of his contract with Hapoel Be’er Sheva.
Austin Ejide has insisted that he is not concerned with contract talks, as his current deal set to run out in the summer, and want to extend his contract with the club.
The Israeli vice-champions have offered the Nigeria international a fresh three year deal, and his representatives are believed to be studying the proposal before giving him their approval.
”I am not thinking about the contract right now, but want to give 100 percent to Hapoel Be’er Sheva every game, that is the most important,” the 30 year old told reporters after Tuesdays State Cup game with Maccabi Herzliya.
Austin Ejide has admitted that he was sad that the Super Eagles will not defend the African Cup of Nations trophy.
”I cried a lot after we could not qualify for the African Cup of Nations, but I am happy to be with Hapoel Be’er Sheva because everyone’s dream is to win trophies,” Austin Ejide concluded.
The Hapoel Be’er Sheva number one has conceded 4 goals in his last five games in the top flight.
