19-time English Premier League champions, Liverpool have recalled wing wizard Jordon Ibe from an eventful loan stint at promotion seeking Derby County.
The 18-year-old made twenty four appearances for the Championship outfit in all competitions, netting five goals, since joining them at the start of 2014/15 season.
However, Ibe has now been recalled by his parent club and could be involved in this weekend’s away clash with Aston Villa.
“Derby County would like to thank Liverpool for allowing Jordon to spend the last five months at the iPro Stadium,” the club revealed in a Press Statement.
The youthful starlet will now get a chance to make the breakthrough into the first-team as manager Brendan Rodgers has opted to cut his loan spell short.
“Liverpool FC can confirm that Jordon Ibe has been recalled from his loan spell with Championship side Derby County,” the Reds stated on their official website.
“Ibe now returns to Melwood and becomes available for immediate selection with [Liverpool], who tackle Aston Villa in the Barclays Premier League on Saturday.”
