Dortmund Targets Chuba Akpom

It has been reported that German side,Borussia Dortmund, have shown interest in landing the young Nigerian Arsenal striker Chuba Akpom.
According to The Daily Star Akpom’s Arsenal contract will end with this season but Dortmund are willing to sign him this January.
In recent times, the 19-year-old, has been linked with Everton, Manchester City and Arsenal’s north London rivals Tottenham. But Dortmund seems to be the most serious of them and are close to agreeing personal terms with the England Under-20 striker.
Dortmund boss Jurgen Klopp is a big fan of Akpom after being alerted by his goal-scoring exploits for Arsenal and England’s youth teams.
Klopp been heavily involved in the talks and believes Akpom can make an impact in the Bundesliga this season while the youngster is understood to have concerns about his long-term first-team prospects at Arsenal.
