Aina suffers injury, Awoniyi impresses as Nottingham Forest hit 33-year record against Man United

Super Eagles stars Ola Aina and Taiwo Awoniyi both made the starting lineup for Nottingham Forest as the Reds powered to a 1‐0 victory over Manchester United at the City Ground on Tuesday night, Soccernet.ng reports.

The two Nigeria internationals helped Forest enter the record books as the Tricky Trees do the league double over Manchester United for the first time since 1992.

Anthony Elanga’s terrific solo goal, against his former club was all Forest needed to bag all the three points at stake and boost their quest for Champions League qualification.
