Report: Inter Milan make secret move to rival Juventus for exciting Nigerian star

Three-time UEFA Champions League winner, Inter Milan, have reportedly entered the race to bolster their attack with the signature of Super Eagles forward, Ademola Lookman, Soccernet.ng reports.

This has set up a potential transfer battle with their Serie A rivals, Juventus, and other top European clubs vying for the Nigeria international’s signature.

The Atalanta winger has attracted interest from multiple clubs following his impressive displays in Serie A, with Juventus already eyeing a move after earlier reports of tension between Lookman and Atalanta boss Gian Piero Gasperini over a missed penalty.

According to fresh reports, Inter Milan are now making underground moves to position themselves as serious contenders for the Nigerian star.

However, per reports from Italian media outlet SpazioJ, their pursuit could depend on whether they offload key attackers, including Marcus Thuram, in the summer.

Meanwhile, Paris Saint-Germain are expected to revive their interest in the 2024 CAF Player of the Year after failing to secure his signature last year, while Premier League giants Arsenal and Liverpool could also enter the fray, which potentially turns the race for his services into a bidding war when the summer transfer window opens.

With multiple clubs monitoring his situation, Lookman’s future at Atalanta remains uncertain, and the coming months could determine whether he stays in Bergamo or move elsewhere.
