Nigerian Grammy-award-winning music star Temilade Openiyi, widely known as Tems celebrated San Diego’s maiden victory in the Major League Soccer, Soccernet.ng reports.
The “Love me jeje” crooner was spotted in the stands, alongside fellow pop star, Ayra Starr in Arsenal’s 1-0 loss to West Ham United at the Emirates Stadium last Saturday.
The 29-year-old, an avid sports lover, has previously declared her interest in women’s football in Nigeria, and earlier this month, made history as the first female to own a stake in San Diego FC.
Tems joined the club’s ownership group as a club partner through her company The Leading Vibe and celebrated San Diego’s MLS debut as they sealed a 2-0 win over LA Galaxy, the reigning MLS Cup Champions, courtesy of a brace from Anders Dreyer.

Tems’ involvement with San Diego FC as a club partner highlights the growing intersection of music, sports, and global entertainment in Major League Soccer. Additionally, it shows the passion the Grammy-winning musician has for the sport.
