Two English sides, Coventry City and Ipswich Town are reportedly set to lock horns for the signature of promising Nigerian midfielder, Abubakar Ghali, Soccernet.ng reports.
The Kano-born left midfielder is currently donning the colours of Czech first-division club, Slovan Liberec, having scored two goals and provided four assists for the club.
Per AfricaFoot, the 24-year-old has piqued the interest of Frank Lampard and McKenna Kieran-led side, who are set to battle with Italian side, AC Monza for the signature of the player.
Further reports suggest that the Championship side, Coventry, and Premier League side, Ipswich, will consider recruiting him. Meanwhile, having attracted the attention of Monza, they are keeping a close watch on the player, per reports.
The current January window only opened some days ago, and it could be a good time for him to bid farewell to his Czech club only if anything becomes official in the next few days.

Earlier, the former Flying Eagles player joined the former club side of Super Eagles’ Samuel Kalu and Moses Simon from MFM FC for an undisclosed fee for a year, then later moved to Slovan Liberec.
Ghali was a provisional member of the Nigeria team in the last FIFA U20 World Cup in Poland, before he was dropped a few days before the start of the tournament.
The youngster, who was given a second chance at the 12th All Africa Games in August, in Morocco, proved to be the star player of the team, as the Flying Eagles finished in second place.
