Incoming transfer? Bright Osayi-Samuel spotted in Premier League game involving Arsenal

Super Eagles defender Bright Osayi-Samuel was sighted in the stands during Arsenal’s Premier League game against Crystal Palace on Saturday, and this has sparked talks that he could move to England soon, Soccernet.ng reports.

Osayi-Samuel has been a consistent performer for Fenerbahce since he joined the club from QPR in 2017. However, in recent months there have been talks that he could leave Fenerbahce soon.

The 26-year-old defender has just six months left on his contract, but he has refused to sign an extension with the former Super Lig champions. Meanwhile, Osayi-Samuel has been linked with some Premier League clubs in England, with Fulham and Crystal Palace in the mix.

In a new development, per Fanatik, the Super Eagles star was spotted in the VIP section at Selhurst Park in Crystal Palace’s 5-1 bashing against Arsenal.

This has sparked a lot of talks, as this could signal that the Nigerian could join Crystal Palace soon.

Moreover, Osayi-Samuel has a strong connection to London, and Crystal Palace is a London-based club. Hence, a transfer to Palace could just be on the cards for the Nigerian defender.

However, it is unlikely that he will move during the January transfer window, as Crystal Palace would prefer to wait until next summer when they will not have to pay a transfer fee.
